Trip to Edinburgh

Dazzle - The Dovecot, Infirmary Street, Edinburgh

I visited the Dazzle Exhibition at the Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh this week. This is my second event exhibiting with Dazzle and so far it has been going really well.  The quality of work on show is outstanding and some of my favourite jewellers were amongst it. Ruth Tomlinson, Mariko Sumioka, Gilly Langton and Heather Woof were some of the stand-out jewellers to me. It is also always nice to see such prestigious jewellers collections in the flesh!

Dazzle is on until the end of the month and is free to get in, I would definitely recommend a visit if you are heading down for the festival!

Also if you are in Edinburgh I would recommend going to see Saltmarket's interesting display in the RBS building on St Andrews square. It was a really interesting concept to put this type of show in that setting.

The West end Fair had some lovely jewellers this year as well, Jessica Howarth, Jen Cunningham and Caroline Finlay were some that stood out to me.

I also visited Edinburgh Contemporary Craft for the first time. I have some work exhibited in their shop and I am pleased to say they are keeping the work on until Christmas. It is a really exciting Craft organisation to have in Edinburgh and they are expanding even further with some new studio spaces.
