Inhorgenta is an annual event in Munich bringing together commercial, contemporary, wholesalers and watchmakers under one roof for galleries, shops and tradespeople to buy unique collections of work.
I visited for the first time in 2009 with my year group from college and this was specifically to visit the show and the other jewellery galleries in Munich. I went by myself a couple of years ago, again, to get some inspiration and find some new materials/suppliers so I thought it was about time to go again.
Germany has some of the best contemporary jewellery makers in the world in my opinion. I love their aesthetic and it is a country of manufacturing so still has really interesting suppliers of tools and materials.
I have made a small video of my trip to Inhorgenta. This is something that I’m wanting to do more of this year to give you an insight into what I get up to on trips away for my business. I hope you like it…
