Hypermarket is the biggest monthly concept store and lifestyle event in Scotland. Each month, a guest curator selects the retailers who are joined by the best in street food, craft beers, cocktails, grafitti artists and DJ's to offer a retail experience like no other.
The guest curator is Alec Farmer of Trakke in this Hypermarket who will be handpicking 40 makers to showcase at this event.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in Glasgow!

I am really excited to be taking part in this show in Aberdeen city centre. Hosted in a marquee in the courtyard of the beautiful Marischal College, this curated market will feature textiles, ceramics and jewellery from across Scotland.

Heather McDermott Jewellery X Cafe 1925
I will be hosting my first Jewellery party on Skye on the 24th of November. I have been working on some new designs to be featured in the showcase alongside my fine range and stainless steel collections.
I have teamed up with Cafe 1925 in Ardvasar to provide delicious canapes and mulled wine to get in the festive spirit!
If you are on Skye it is definitely worth a wee visit!
My work will be returning to the Kath Libbert Gallery this winter for their Christmas showcase after 6 years. I showcased my Graduate Collection at the gallery first in 2010 and it has been lovely to be invited back.
I will be showing a selection of my silver work alongside some other lovely makers!

Elements, established in 2015, was the first ever festival of gold and silver to be held in Scotland. It is a celebration not only of the beauty of precious metals, but of the creative minds and dextrous hands of the craftspeople who create extraordinary objects from these most precious – and fundamental – of our world’s elements.
It is the second year of this lovely show in the capital! I always love visiting Edinburgh and I equally love exhibiting in the city I studied in. I am excited to show my new designs with new 18ct Gold plated pieces, stone set pieces adding a touch of glamour to the collection and some new colours!

I will be exhibiting for the second time at the West Dean Craft fair in association with MADE, Tutton and Young.
This is a lovely show in a beautiful location and I can't wait for some summer sun!
I have been exhibiting my work with the Scottish gallery for over a year now and will be exhibiting in my first solo show in April.
